TO OUR DEVOTED FRIENDS AND CUSTOMERS!!!

It is time for our annual Holiday letter. Hard to believe this year has passed so quickly. As Thanksgiving approaches I always like to take some time and reflect on God's goodness and how much my family and I have to be thankful for!!

As most of you already know Joel has left home to join his brother at A & M. We now have three children all doing well in college that THE GOOD LORD somehow helped us raise, home school and pay for their education. We are so lucky and grateful!!

Joel submitted a story to Guideposts for the young writer's contest for which he won a scholarship. They liked the story so much they did a feature story about the Rice family business in two magazines!! That was a very proud moment for Debby and I. We are proud of our children!!!

He has blessed us with good health this year. Debby's heart seems to be doing very well and I am thankful for that!!

The business is doing okay but October was terrible!! I am praying for a GOOD CHRISTMAS SEASON!!! I am very thankful for all our brave men and women who serve our country with tremendous dedication and sacrifice!!! I pray (and know you do too!!) for them and their families!!!

We are thanful for our loyal and devoted cutomers. We appreciate your patronage but TREASURE YOUR FRIENDSHIP!!! You have meant so much to my family and I in so many ways!! As the shop is our only source of income your hard earned dollars go to a very good cause. We are very thankful for your continued support.

We have lost a lot of our good customers this year to relocation. They may not be in San Antonio but we are still in contact!! Shawn was just here from Australia!! Steve from Colorado!!! Terry from Las Vegas!!! Josh in Louisiana, etc. etc!! We hope we will always be friends!!

As a result of the Guidepost article I have received tons of phone calls and emails from all over the country!! Really neat people!! Today the President and Founder of The C.S. Lewis Foundation came by to meet me!! What an honor!! And a BLESSING!!

God has been berry, berry, berry to me!! Thank God for all of you. If your smiling faces keep showing up I'll keep opening the doors!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!

We pray that God blesses you with a Blessed Thanksgiving!!
